About This Course
<p>The Advanced Certificate Course on Animal Protection Laws, offered online by the Centre for Environmental Law & Policy at the University of Colombo, is Sri Lanka's first program of its kind.</p><p>This 6-month English-medium course explores animal welfare legislation, cruelty prevention, wildlife conservation, and related policies. Application Instructions
Step 1: Pay the Application Fee
The non-refundable application fee is LKR 1,000/=.
Pay using the code 3100174000008 through any People's Bank branch to the University of Colombo.
Deposit as a normal payment slip (do not use cash deposit machines).
Write the code 3100174000008 as the Account Number and University of Colombo (or similar main collection account) as the Account Name.
Keep the original payment receipt/slip safe—you will need to upload a scanned copy.
(Online payment via https://pay.cmb.ac.lk may also be available; if so, select the appropriate Faculty of Law or certificate fee category and enter the code if prompted. Confirm details during payment.)
Step 2: Submit Your Application
Apply online through the Faculty of Law's application portal: https://apply.keplercloud.com (look for the specific link for the Advanced Certificate Course on Animal Protection Laws).
Complete the application form with your personal details, educational qualifications, and other required information.
During or after filling the form, upload the scanned payment slip/receipt for the application fee to complete and submit your application.
Ensure all eligibility documents (e.g., GCE O/L certificate, NVQ Level 3 proof, or other relevant certificates) are uploaded as specified.
